"All great garden designs begin with a conversation".
During our initial onsite meeting, we get a first hand look at how we can help you create that perfect setting in your outdoor space.
As we walk around the garden together we will discuss all the key points that are important to you as we start to form your personal design brief. We will discuss design ideas and get you thinking about all the possibilities. Sound advise will be given on the projected construction costs and permits or engineering if required.
At the end of this meeting we will have formed a clear garden design brief, outlining the all important garden design theme, how you need it to function and of course the budget.
A summary, noting all the key points discussed during the meeting will be provided to
you for your own records.
Once this is complete we move to the design stage.
A standard consultation runs for 90 minutes.
What garden design package will I need?
"Design is creativity with strategy". - Rob Curedale
During your initial consultation, we will discuss the appropriate design package for your specific project. We will have on hand, examples of our design packages to help you best understand, the package that is right for you.
Using our 3D Fly Thru presentations, we are able to communicate a vivid and life-like visualization of your investment, before you build. This is the ultimate way to experience what your new garden design, will look and feel like. Complete with a set of 2D garden plans, this package leaves no stone unturned.
What is the process during the garden design stage?
"The best designers are those who have mastered the art of listening".
Once we have agreed on the garden design package that suits your project best, we will start building your design on paper with creative ideas for your outdoor space, making sure we are staying true to the brief.
When we are convinced that our drafts are ready for you to review, we will schedule another meeting to present our ideas.
We will walk you thru the design explaining the aesthetics and functionality of the garden concept. You are free to make any changes you need. These changes are then documented and reflected in the final handover.
The turn around time from consultation to final handover is approximately 3-4 weeks.
